The Juan Soto race is underway. Soto and agent Scott Boras began meeting with interested teams this week, with the Toronto Blue Jays and Boston Red Sox reportedly among the first to get face-to-face time.

Juan Soto met with the Red Sox on Thursday in California, multiple sources confirmed. Soto’s list of suitors reportedly extends beyond the Red Sox to include the Yankees, Mets, and Blue Jays, all of whom have either met with or are scheduled to meet with the four-time All-Star.

David Ortiz believes that Juan Soto's hitting ability along with his leadership is exactly what the Red Sox need.
